👑The most expensive dress in London and all of Great Britain 💰, Queen Elizabeth II's coronation gown, her wedding dress, and true royal jewelry: these aren't abstract objects that exist somewhere outside of our universe 🪐🛰.
In this video, we'll literally peer inside the lives of the British royal family and try to understand: what is it like to be queen?✨
I went to see Queen Elizabeth II's legendary dresses in person: to see the embroidery details, the fabrics, the symbols, the royal regalia, and those very images that have made British history 🇬🇧. But this video isn't just about fashion or luxury. It's an attempt to look at the monarchy from the inside: through the clothes worn by the woman who carried the entire country for decades.
👗Elizabeth II's wedding dress is considered one of the most famous and symbolic dresses of the 20th century. It was created by designer Norman Hartnell after World War II and inspired by Botticelli's painting "Primavera." Thousands of pearls and intricate embroidery were used in its creation, and the Queen herself even used fabric coupons issued to British citizens after WW2—women from all over the country sent them to the young princess with all their heart.
And the coronation dress is a whole other story. It was hand-embroidered with symbols of the Commonwealth countries: the English Tudor rose, the Scottish thistle, the Irish shamrock, the Welsh daffodil, and other emblems. It wasn't just a dress, but a literal political and historical statement through fashion.
In this video, I'll show you:
— what the Queen's real dresses look like up close
— details that are usually invisible in photographs
— royal accessories, fabrics, and jewelry
— what lies behind the image of the "ideal queen"
— and what the atmosphere is like inside the places where the history of the British monarchy is preserved
And honestly... being around these things is a very unusual feeling. You begin to understand that behind the beautiful photographs, crowns, and dresses stood a woman who, for decades, literally couldn't afford to be an "ordinary person"—even though she probably really wanted to?
🇬🇧The monarchy in the UK is not just tradition and luxury. It's a vast system of symbols, pressures, responsibilities, and constant attention from the entire world. And it's through clothing, ceremonies, and everyday details that this is felt most strongly.
