2016 Ready Houston Preparedness Kit Chef's Challenge
Local top chefs compete on-site at Market Square Park in Houston, Texas to create the best dish from non-perishable food items typically found in a disaster preparedness kit. Media judges select and award one winner based on taste, creativity and presentation. In addition to the cook-off, emergency response equipment is on display and disaster preparedness information is available. Attendees come early for music, food and giveaways.
