we use eugene schwartz's 5 levels of market awareness to map this out:
unaware: "i don't need new clothes." (hard to convert)
problem/solution aware: "i need a hoodie that fits better." (easier)
most aware: "i am looking to buy [competitor brand] right now." (this is where we steal them).
the "us vs. them" strategy: i show you exactly how to structure your creatives to call out competitors directly without getting sued. effective marketing is about differentiation, not just "looking cool."

shop ads: the underrated platform with the highest purchase intent right now.
google pmax: catching people at the bottom of the funnel.
comparison creatives: the visual format that kills brand loyalty.
stop playing nice. if your product is better, it's your duty to take the customer.
