Is it worth it to sell your own Sample Packs in 2019? With Splice and Sounds being huge sample libraries at a very low cost, I rarely by sample packs on its own...
The only way i buy individual sample packs is if it is an artist i like. For example Travis Barker just came out with a drum sample pack!! I will jump on it because i love his drum sounds! Or i purchase pacs from Sound Oracle who was the sound designer for Timbaland! Here is where you can check that out:

I sell sample packs so i don't want to be a hypocrite or contradict myself, but i believe you need to have a name for yourself before having good results from sample packs... I personally sell very few of my Sound Kits, BUT... I realized it has helped my workflow in the studio! Instead of spending hours looking for drum sounds , i find them in minutes by going through my Sample Packs! Because those are the sounds i like! I already spent time making them so instead of doing it again, they are already ready to go!
I recommend all producers should make their own sample packs just to better their workflow in the studio and who knows some people might by them!
It is also very good to share your sample packs to other producers you like at start networking. Having something to offer is always a great networking tool!
