Step 4: Run an Agent Remotely | RDP & Cloud Execution
In this video, we run an AI-driven Windows GUI automation agent on a remote PC using GUIDE (by Workspot).
GUIDE supports remote execution over RDP, enabling secure automation on Windows desktops outside the local machine.
In this demo, we:
• Configure Remote Desktop access
• Separate admin and runtime user accounts
• Install the GUIDE Runtime on the remote PC
• Register a scheduled task to trigger runtime on RDP login
• Configure remote machine settings inside GUIDE
• Publish and execute the workflow remotely
When the agent runs:
• An RDP session launches
• Chrome opens on the remote machine
• Pricing data is extracted
• Excel is launched remotely
• Structured data is entered
• File is saved to the remote Documents folder
• The RDP session disconnects automatically
This demonstrates AI-driven autonomous Windows GUI automation executing securely on a remote system.
During beta, GUIDE runs on standard Windows 11 remote desktops.
