Rumiko Takahashi is arguably the most influential mangaka of all time and she can be heavily credited with helping bring manga and anime to the western world. We've loved covering her shows like Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha, but we finally wanted to shine a spotlight on Rumiko Takahashi herself. Her story from childhood to mangaka powerhouse isn't what you might expect. She wasn't a prodigy, she wasn't creating manga at the age of 3. But she was dedicated and passionate about what she loved, and it shows through her entire life.
