Mayor Yemi Mobolade presents balanced 2024 budget to City Council
The mayor outlined the priorities of his budget which is 7.2 million dollars more than the 2023 general fund, a 1.7% increase. Each city department will have to cut more than 3% of its budget which could result in hiring freezes, but Mobolade says funding for city services won't be chopped.
