What does it mean to be trans? What experiences do trans people have? What is the gender transition process like, and what risks are associated with it?
In this video episode, host Maxi meets TikTok influencer Luka Hauptmann. Luka is a trans man and regularly shares insights into his life and daily routine with his community on the social media platforms TikTok and YouTube. Maxi talks to him about what being trans means in concrete terms, his gender transition process, and the challenges he faces as a trans man in Germany.
The second guest in this episode is a psychotherapist specializing in gender dysphoria (the technical term for gender identity disorder) in children and adolescents.
