Over the years I'm watching broadcasters on Twitch - I've started to see an inevitable trend that is going to cause a lot of broadcasters to fail in 2020 if it's not course corrected.
The problem is serious and the weight of the title is appropriate. The numbers are grim for older broadcasters who are not still streaming like it's 2015 when we're coming up on 2020. It's much more difficult to run a broadcast with how saturated everything is. Broadcasting successfully requires a commitment to working on other platforms that aren't just Twitch.
A complete focus on Youtube, Instagram, and even a third platform of choice dependent on your content is MANDATORY.
If Twitch streamers, and increasingly Mixer, Facebook Gaming, and Youtube streamers don't do this, they will have a real hard time as the market crunches down on content creators in 2020.
