We never know when developers start support for Microsoft Store will that ever come or not but then there comes a toggle provided from Microsoft in Edge Chromium from where you can enable Allow Extensions from other stores as well.
After enabling it you can download and get your favorite extension from Google Chrome Store as well.
Click on three dots at right side and then extensions from there at bottom you will see developer mode toggle and allow extension from other store toggle just turn that on and you can start enjoying your favorite extensions in Edge Browser also.
