Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was attacked
On January 16, 2025, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, 54, was attacked in his Mumbai residence by an intruder. The assailant entered Khan’s Bandra apartment around 2:30 a.m. and, during a confrontation, stabbed the actor six times, including two deep wounds near his spine. 
Khan was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to remove a knife lodged in his thoracic spinal cord and to repair leaking spinal fluid. Dr. Nitin Dange of Lilavati Hospital stated that Khan sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to the lodged knife.
