There is no better feeling than the first time you give an interview or see yourself in a magazine. It’s something all new entrepreneurs aspire to achieve. And yet, there is no reason the amazing efforts you put in to get there can’t last. By creating a page on your website dedicated to showcasing you in the media, you can enjoy the benefits of those articles and interviews for months and years to come
Why do you need a press page?
I would love to tell you that all you need to do is create your website and post on social media and everything will be happy and dandy. And while that is the perfect way to get started, it won’t be everything. Sooner or later you will need to start expanding your circles a bit and becoming more public.
What are the benefits of having a press page on my website?
Your press page shows you as a leader in your field. It shows that others have seen your work and were so impressed by it they decided to feature you in their publications, videos, podcasts, etc. It shows that you are not only good at what you do but that you are an expert who knows how to help others?
How can I get more press on myself and my business?
Ahhhh the million dollar question. I wish there was an easy answer to you for this but unfortunately there is not. Most of the press that has been done on me they have either found me from my website and previous publication or from facebook groups. That being said, there are literally thousands of amazing PR consultants out there who can help you.
