Stand firm, friends! - A HotS Tyrael guide
Tyrael is one of the most unique Heroes in HotS, and he plays very counter-intuitively to how other tanks play. Because of that, a lot of players overlook Tyrael's powerful strengths and find him underwhelming. In this guide, we go over all the basic fundamentals of Tyrael and go through my thought process on what you should be looking to do.
Furthermore, Tyrael's talent choices are very important for the situation. My most successful talent build includes picking up talents related to your Smite on levels 4 and 7, picking up Sanctification, and then pivoting over into Q talents at level 13 and 16. Holy Ground is essentially a 3 second long root, assuming you pull off a complete block. Providing CC to a Hero that otherwise lacks it is such a game changer, and Tyrael is very pleased to see this.
