Himalayan Brown bear mobbed by dogs!
We were on our way from Ladakh to Srinagar, it was an early morning crossing of Zojila pass after a night of rain. Somewhere on the pass, we spotted a movement to our right and spotted a Himalayan bear. It had gone behind a sheet of ice, but we decided to wait for it to come out. It was early in the morning at around 5:50 am.
We were witness to something more dramatic after this. We noticed a group of Campers to our right below. There were 3 dogs from the group, that moved up towards the Bear and started barking at it! We watched this drama for a few minutes. The bear finally gave up and started moving away.
