4K UHD | ARK Survival Evolved – PS4 vs. PS4 Pro 4K Detailed Graphics Mode Graphics Comparison

We compare the graphics of ARK Survival Evolved on PS4 Pro in 4K with PS4. The PS4 Pro Version runs with Patch 1.02 (501.2) which enables 1080p native resolution, detailed graphics mode is activated too. The detailed graphics mode improves level of detail as well as resolution on PS4 Pro. On PS4 it can be activated too, there it only improves LOD but reduces performance a lot. It is only recommended to activated it on PS4. In our video we do a short run to show level of detail / draw distance and popping objects. You can also see the low texture filtering on both consoles. We further take a look at the shadows, reflections, vegetation and more.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von ARK Survival Evolved auf der PS4 Pro in 4K mit der PS4. Beide Versionen laufen mit dem 1.02 (501.2) Update, dass eine native Auflösung von 1080p für die PS4 Pro ermöglicht. Außerdem läuft die PS4 Pro Version im Modus Detail Graphics, der neben der höheren Auflösung auch eine höhere Sichtweite aktiviert. Der Modus kostet einiges an Leistung und lässt sich auch auf der PS4 aktivieren, dort aber nur für die höhere Sichtweite. Dadurch wird die bereits mäßige Performance deutlich reduziert, darum empfehlen wir den Modus nur für die PS4 Pro. Im Video zeigen wir einen kurzen Laufabschnitt, um auf Sichtweite, aufpoppende Objekte und Texturefilter einzugehen. Außderm zeigen wir Texturen, Schatten, Spiegelungen, Wasserqualität und vieles mehr.
