[2019] How to triple your LinkedIn connection request acceptance rates by avoiding these common mistakes. Volume 1.

Number one from 0. Hi Nick. I hope you're having a wonderful week. That's original. I saw your profile and decided to reach out. Tell me, O, how did you find my profile. What made you want to reach out. I am the CEO of blah blah blah. We offer an infrastructure that allows service based businesses to make money while they are sleeping. Gee, O, I've never heard that one before except when associated with some kind of MLM scheme. Not to me sounds like a scam. Let's connect on LinkedIn. First. You haven't given me any reason to connect. Second. It looks like you want to sell me something I don't need or want. And third since this is linked in you don't need to tell me that.

Number two from Q. Although we've never met. Well, Q, don't you think I know that. Your profile came up when I was looking for web agencies in the US. I appreciate your attempt at honesty but that's a pretty broad search. And it seems like you might just be throwing darts at a wall hoping for a bull's eye.

I have been working with U.S. based companies for six years. Okay. Doing what? We offer excellent design and development service. I don't know what that means and who says it's excellent. I would like to connect and explore the possibilities of working together. Working together. Did you want to know more about how I can help you write better connect requests. Or more likely did you want to try and sell me your services. Sorry. Q.

Number three from D. First, your headline says that you are a copywriter and marketing consultant, which you would see that's exactly what I do if you bothered to read my profile. Hey. Nick Nichols. Come on, D! Who starts an email with hey and then a full name? Someone who is clueless? I stumbled upon your profile. That makes me feel special. And looked at some of your work. Liar. Would love to connect. What is this the business version of Love Connection? And how will connecting benefit me? Answer: It won't.
