808 into a Distortion Guitar Pedal?
As suggested by mixing engineer Jaycen Joshua—credited for "Despacito", "Unforgettable (feat. Swae Lee)", and many more—I tried running 808 sub bass into a Boss Blues Driver guitar pedal. The pedal is meant to emulate an overdriven guitar tube amplifier by saturating the incoming signal with lots and lots of harmonics.
