Utopia rehearsals at Funkhaus Berlin
The Utopia Orchestra prepares for its tours at Funkhaus — its creative residency in Berlin.
Once a broadcasting centre for Radio DDR, Funkhaus is now one of Berlin’s foremost music hubs, celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. The building hosts a diverse range of recordings and performances, from symphonies to electronic sets, and has welcomed legends like Ryuichi Sakamoto, Aphex Twin, Sting, and Depeche Mode, all of whom have created their works here.
It is within these walls that Utopia prepares for nearly every tour, rehearsing, recording, and performing symphonic and chamber works.
