Friends, in today’s short youtube video, I am going to teach you how you can sort the name or any text according to their characters length.
If you have a lot of names or text in one column and if you want to sort it by their characters length, then the LEN formula of excel can become handy for this job.
The LEN formula basically counts the characters of selected text and shows them as a number.
For example , If you want to count the characters of the name “KANU” by using the LEN formula then after applying the LEN formula the result will be 4 , as “KANU” is made up of 4 characters.
Once you get all the numbers with excel LEN formula, you have to sort the numbers as smallest to largest to expand the selection .
