Welcome to my special playthrough series of the August 5th Prototype version of CTR Crash Team Racing!
The August 5th, 1999 prototype of Crash Team Racing is a preview version of the game dated around a month and a half before the final NTSC-U release version, there is no intro cutscene in this build.
You must collect the letters C, T, & R during a Trophy Race, instead of having a separate challenge. Each letter will be available in different laps, and if you miss any of them, you won't be able to get the token & you can also collect Time Trial Relics after collecting your Trophy for said race!
Most of the race tracks have minor differences & ETC!!
