Workflow in AEM. Workflow is used to automate Activities in adobe experience manger.
Series of steps executed in specific order.
Each step perform some activity.
Workflows can interact with assets, user accounts and services.
E.g.: Publishing a Page
Model : Blueprint of workflow.
Step : Object that consists of a series of different types.
Transition : Link between the steps.
Work Item : Object that represents a task/action.
Payload : Resource on which workflow perform it’s functionality. E.g. Page
Lifecycle : It begins when the workflow is started and ends when the end node is processed.
