In this video I demonstrate how to clean and restore quarry tiles in a 100 year old house. The quarry tiles badly needed restoration and deep cleaning.
We first acid bathed the tiles and followed this up with intense scraping and even diamond grinding of the tiles to get the bonded glues off of the tile. The restoration took a few weeks to complete between stages but when we finally applied sealant to the quarry tile it they looked AMAZING! I think you'll agree that the transformation is stunning and the quarry tiles now look fantastic.
