Resolve's file-relinking doesn't work.
Here we see an attempt to relink a media entry in the bin to another file. In this case, we're switching an audio file from the original to one that's been processed with noise reduction. The files are of identical length, name, and type (sample rate and so forth).
It's bad enough that this doesn't work, but Resolve makes the defect even worse by not reporting the failure. The user is led to believe that it worked, which could prove to be professionally embarrassing.
