S6:E8 I’M DONE! FUTURE PRO SOLD…………..
I have been running summer camps and winter clinics for a long time. When Tracey and I created Future Pro 35 years ago, there were summer camps but there were not other goalie training programs. I brought private lessons, practice visits, association clinics and the concept of being a full time goalie coach to the sport. In those days goalie coaching was a part time side hustle, and unless you coached in the NHL you weren’t supporting your family with your only income being derived from full time goalie coaching.
Now I have found the perfect replacement. Joe Raaymakers is the new owner of Future Pro Canada. I still own Future Pro USA and the hockey, golf and soccer schools. And, I will be more active creating YouTube videos and our social media content. I will also be doing way more private lessons and working with my mentor students. So, I’m not exactly retired from coaching. I’m just done with summer camps and winter clinics. (although, I will still appear 4 hours per week at our existing summer locations)
