This corporate team building exercise is a creative way to discover what a group believes is the perfect team member. Each participant will gain insight into his own values and the values of others. And as a result: a positive atmosphere in the workplace! 👍

Do you like this exercise? Let’s give these variations a try:

1. You can tell them that the drawing of the perfect team member can also be an abstract drawing. In this case, they don’t have to draw a person. They can draw creative things that represent that person. For example, if they think the perfect team member should be both caring and passionate, they can draw a heart with lightning around it.

2. In addition to drawing, you can tell the participants to cut and paste the perfect team member. In this case, you bring magazines, scissors and glue to the exercise. You distribute the magazines to the trios and tell them that they can cut out different parts of photos of people. They paste it onto their blank paper to make a collage of the perfect team member. In the last round, the whole group together can cut out parts from the earlier completed creations. They can then paste them onto a blank paper to construct the final perfect team member.
