(Quarantine Day 66)

Today I am going to show you something about the void in the face-based family.

We can have a face-based family that cut void on any surface.
The steps are very simple:
1. create a face-based family.
2. create a void into the surface
3. cut the face with that void.
Then if you load this family into the project, it will automatically cut the surface it is loaded onto.

You may notice that in the Family Category and Parameters setting, there is an option called "Cut with Voids When Loaded". If you have this option checked, you do not need to cut the surface with the void in the family. Instead, you do it in the project.

Have a try yourself and you may find it useful.
