Plant Simulation - How to do Custom Robot Animation
Plant Simulation is a Discrete-Event Simulation (DES) tool from Siemens Digital Industry Software (DISW). However, it is not a proper CAD tool. Therefore, for work to prepare/conditioning the graphics, it is always recommended to use external CAD tool, such as NX in this case.
For CAD preparation, some suggestion to prepare/condition the graphics:
1. Remove flexible geometry such as tubing
2. Cleanup the graphics (broken surfaces, self intersecting surfaces, etc)
3. Remove tiny and insignificant graphics
4. Proper hierarchy structure using the assembly configuration of CAD package
