The Salt River Part 2
In this virtual field trip video you will visit two very different ecosystems where CAP LTER scientists work. The first is Tempe Town Lake, which is a highly designed and managed iconic lake in downtown Tempe. The second site is an example of the completely undesigned and unmanaged "accidental wetlands" that are found in parts of the Salt River bed where storm drainage from the city is sufficient to support wetlands.
