I'm going to mention 40 minutes of little things in continuation from the first video, and then we'll cover the 4 masking examples.

I'm using an overlay program called turbotop to display my notepad as always ontop. It's a good idea to have some kind of overlay program if you are running windows, cause its ridiculously inefficient to constantly go back and forth between programs by clicking the taskbar icons over and over.

This video also covers Gamma blur which I forgot to cover in this video (sorry), but its a pretty basic effect strip that functions similar to any other one. You just change the x and y blur values (make both of them around 20 for max blur generally).
Anyways if you can regurgitate the content of Guides I and II (2.5 hours!), you know most of what I know. I may do a video showing more advanced masking examples. It's just a case of layering the techniques I showed you here, i.e. masks ontop of masks and all that :)
