Premiere Pro "Link Media" function is a defective embarrassment.
For example: You have color-corrected your footage and exported it with the same filenames and same file lengths. All you need to do now is relink your project to the new footage, right?
Right. But Premiere has no such function. The supposed workaround is to mark everything offline and then try to relink... OR you "hide" your original footage from Premiere by renaming its directory and then go through this same charade... which DOESN'T WORK anyway.
