Google Nest Cam Battery Anti Drop & Theft - Alternate Solution
Here's a different solution to protect your Nest Cam battery from hurricanes and thieves at the same time.
I considered the Wassertein, but wasn't happy about the IR interference issue and the wrap-around design. So I cheeped out and got a screw-in solution for 1/4 the price.
The steal cable appears to be exactly the same. It's also the weak point in the designs, so you're not gaining or losing anything with either one.
Not in the video, but I may use a very small amount of loctite blue just to ensure the strongest, grippiest fingers can't unscrew this thing.
