• With the Type Tool selected, click and drag on the page to create a text frame. Type in your desired text.

• Select the text frame and Choose Type - Create Outlines.The text is now converted into outlines.

• Select the outlined text, go to File - place. Select the image you want to add. Then click Open to place an image inside the text.
