Power of the Wind | Short Documentary shot on Sony Burano & Sony FX6
"We live off the wind... but we just can't live off the wind."
This film is an intimate portrait of the last Dutch millers, men like 67-year-old Jos Kors, who faces an uncertain future with no pension after dedicating 30 years to his craft.

The Dutch windmill is a celebrated national monument, but it is an icon on the brink. In less than a century, thousands of mills have disappeared, and those that remain face a constant battle against disrepair and financial neglect.
This film goes beyond the festive sight to meet the people whose lives are dedicated to their preservation. It's an intimate story of what it truly costs to keep history alive—a testament to a passion that is "hard to put into words" and the quiet perseverance of those who refuse to let the blades stop turning.
Shot on the Sony Burano, FX6 and FX3. I shot most on the Thypoch Simera-C, but the interview is done with Sony GM II lenses (including a couple other shots). Light was all natural, except for some interview shots.
