Candle for bushcraft
In this video we will make a long-burning camp candle with a stand for placing dishes. To do this you will need a metal can, you can use a tin can, cardboard and paraffin. A candle can be used for warmth or for cooking.
I found the design of such a candle on bushcraft and survival forums. People write that it should burn for several hours, but I have never tested this myself.
In the following videos I will test how long such a candle will actually burn continuously. I also came across another way of filling a jar with cardboard - they do not completely fill the jar, but fold a piece of cardboard in a cross and insert it into the jar. In the following videos we will test this candle, check how long it burns.
