A new trick i learned the other day. Some say cork 9 off the toes, some say front rodeo 9. either way i dont really care. its fun. Filmed at Carinthia, Mount Snow. check back in a few days for a new edit. its almost done. NOTE I consider this cork 9 off the toes but i changed the title because everyone thinks its a rodeo instead so more will understand

*HOW TO*
First id say before ever attempting this trick take it to smaller jumps. i started out trying 5s off 15- 20 footers just so you get the feel down for them. after a while i bumped it up to 7s. Once i was comfortable enough i brought them to the 40 footers and just threw it as if i was on the smaller jumps and kept my head turned and it came right around first time

As for the trick itself, its really not all that hard.

Since you spinning off your toes frontside you dont need much of a set-up carve. A very slight heelside turn going into the jump is good just so that when you get on your toes you leave the jump straight.

Right when you are leaving the lip of the jump you want to press firmly down on your toeside edge and snap your shoulders frontside to set the rotation. BE AWARE...since this is off the toes frontside you have no prespin and get a very very solid snap off the lip. YOU WILL spin faster than you are expecting.

The best way i can explain on how to throw your shoulders is think about going off the jump regular, on your toes, and throw an uppercut with your trailing arm and keep your head turned.

DON'T FREAK OUT when you begin to cork. at first its going to feel very awkward but if you freakout you will stop your rotation completely and stop your cork and take a hard fall. trust me it will come around just hold your grab and hold onto your pants depending how comfortable you are with it and trust it will come around.

My prefered grab for this is method or maybe indy as your arms are already for the most part in the position to grab there anyways.

You are going to spot your landing in between the 3 and the 5 and between the 7 and the 9.

Lay your board down and ride away like a boss while everyone's minds are blown.

3 Most Important Parts of This Trick:
1) be heavy on your toes and get a good snap off the lip
2) Grab your board and Maintain Composure
3) keep your head turned and don't freakout, it will come around.

HAVE FUN SNOWBOARDING BROS!
