How to Create Custom Portfolio Buttons in Squarespace Using CSS
Today we'll look into how to add custom buttons to Squarespace Portfolio items using pure CSS.
Using pseudo-elements, we'll be able to create fake (yet useful) buttons that work with both the Overlay and Simple Portfolio layouts that you can choose to style however you like.
Additionally, I'll share my personal tricks on how to easily match existing Squarespace button styles using CSS variables so your designs stay consistent and remain easy to update.
