Installing the Rotelli MT440 automation on swing gates yourself is not particularly difficult. At this site, we have metal posts with a diameter of 100 mm. Therefore, we will need to weld a small platform to extend into the yard and increase the post's width, as the minimum installation distance is 190 mm. First, we weld a corner piece of metal plate, and then attach a bracket. We mount the motor to this bracket. Next, to mark the location of the front bracket on the gate, switch the motor to manual mode. First, pull the rod out fully and mark the location on the gate. Then, push it back and open the gate fully. Place the bracket on the gate and mark the location. Tighten the rod fully, pull it back, and open the gate. Place the drive and mark the location where the front bracket touches. Check that the marks match. They do, so we bolt the front bracket to the gate. Install the second swing gate drive in the same manner. Connect the drive wires to the control board according to the diagram. Set the operating time. Also, connect the power supply to the indicator light.
