Not One of Them (My Only Son)
I made this slide show/video because every time I watch this part in Superman Returns (just after Superman overhears Lois saying that she never loved him) I think of the similarities between the idea of Superman and Jesus and the way God sent Him, His only Son, here, to be the light to show the way.
Now before the Christians get mad and comment mean things (I'm a Cristian so I understand) I just want to state that I know Superman can not be compared to Jesus. This video is simply what I think about at that part of the movie. So I tried to put it together the way I saw it.
Ultimately, I would have like to have painted my own pictures, but since that takes forever, I searched the internet for pictures that fit my vision for this. And if any of these pictures belong to anyone, I would like to give credit and possibly a link to your website. I am not one to steal artwork, I am an artist myself, and since this video is not intended to profit from, I would hope that the original artists could understand that.
