Having reached the tower with Kathryn, Barisov shows Renko what happened in the alternate past. As a result of further research of E-99, a disaster occurred. Research and experiments with the Singularity led to a powerful explosion that killed people on the island, and those who did not die were turned into mutants. According to Barisov's assumptions, the only way to change the course of history is to destroy the Singularities with a bomb based on the E-99. The bomb can be found in the hold on board the sunken ship "The Pearl".
Renko goes in search of a bomb through a system of underground tunnels, where he is attacked by new types of mutants - phase ticks, and then their queen - Rhadamanth. Demichev's people captured Barisov's tower, but he managed to escape with Kathryn. Meeting Renko at the control tower, Barisov suggests changing plans and infiltrating the port by train. First you need to go through the closed area, fixing the crane control. Having called Kathryn out of captivity, the heroes go to the amplifier installation, with the help of which Renko restores the train. While moving, they are attacked by Rhadamanth.
