Soul-Link Rules:
1. Any pokemon that faints is considered dead. That pokemon should be either put in a dedicated dead box, or released.
2. Pokemon that you and your partner catch are considered linked. If one dies so does the other.
3. We alternate areas for the encounters.
4. You can only catch the first pokemon on each route. If the pokemon faints or flees it is considered a forfeit of your encounter. This also means your partners encounter is forfeited as well.
Exceptions:
A. The pokemon is one you already caught/is a evolution of the pokemon you have the option to catch or not. (Otherwise known as "Species")
B. Statics/Pokemon that appear in the over world are considered separate encounters. (Ex. Sodowoodo encounter in Heart Gold)
C. Gift Pokemon are considered Gift encounters (Ex. Kenya in Heart gold)
5. Genders must be opposite or one gendered and one no gender.
Exceptions:
A. Starters/Gift/Static pokemon can be any gender even if they match.
6. Pokemon primary types cannot be the same as the soul-link partners. If no pokemon can be found with an opposite typing you can claim a token. To catch a pokemon in a route you haven't caught anything from in addition to your normal encounter. In the case of all routes have been explored we put it on a wheel and encounter from whichever route it says. (This Includes Gifts/Statics)
7. Primary typing's may not repeat across both players parties. (Ex. Ampharos and Raichu could not be linked)
8. In the case of a white out we can choose to continue the soul-link with the pokemon we have in the computer or restart.
9. Secondary marts are randomized this items are limited to 1 purchase:
A. Master Ball/Dream Ball
B. Fossils
C. Lucky Egg
D. Exp Share
