WHY PHOTOGRAPHY? --- Why is it so special?
In this video I discuss why we like photography and what is so special about it. I argue that photography resonates well with certain personality traits and types. Some people are very visual and photography provides a way for them to better understand and probe the world. Some people are natural collectors, and again, photography lets them carry out their activities. Some people are trophy seekers and what better way for them to come back home with a trophy than a great photo on the memory card. Whatever the reason, most photographers agree that seeing beauty and seeing something unusual is a big part of photography. Let me know what you think.
