What technology has come to! 😮
A lollipop, which produces almost imperceptible vibrations when it touches the teeth in a person's mouth, transmits music, which our brain then hears in our inner ear (these vibrations encode music. The vibrations are transmitted through the teeth to the skull bones and the inner ear).
However, hearing the same music in the most conventional way, with the outer ear, is impossible.
The famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven used this technique when he realized he was losing his hearing. He clamped one end of a metal rod between his teeth and touched the other end to a piano. This allowed him to hear all his own music with his inner ear.
