On September 27, two Chinese naval missile boats were in the West Philippine Sea’s exclusive economic zone. They reportedly aimed military-grade lasers at a Philippine Cessna 208 seaplane patrolling the South China Sea. These lasers emitted three bursts of "high-intensity white light," causing severe discomfort to the pilot’s eyes. However, the actual situation turned out to be unexpected.
