Most rappers who take their craft seriously strive for lyrical success to some degree, some of which receive the proper recognition. This is a video telling the story of the ones who do not receive the exposure or credit they deserve.
Now, if you're not familiar with the artists on this list don't worry, I don't blame you. After all, they are some of hip-hop's most underrated rappers. These are rappers who've been putting in a crazy amount of work for a while; although a few do receive very much respected in the underground scene of hip-hop, it still doesn't look like they haven't gotten close to any kind of mainstream success, yet. Their lyrical ability and talent for putting words together is unlike anything most people have heard before. They have that special something. They're made for rapping.
