Inline Fan Basics & Noise Control Tips
Time to Talk In-line fans, today on Lex's world! I will explain some elementary, must-know things including picking the correct size fan (4 inches, 6 inches or more)...how CFM works, how often you have to exchange the air in your grow room and even basic maintenance, which for these fans is pretty much just cleaning. Keeping your fan quiet though, may be the most difficult task of all, whether it is for stealth or convenience. Hanging it, building a sound box for it, using rigid or insulated ducting or using a solid state speed controller are all options you have at your disposal.
