BOID APP: LInux boid configuration editing: Limit the physical cores used.
Here I edit with sudo the nano /var/lib/boinc-client/global_prefs_override.xml
and get the values from cat /var/lib/boinc-client/global_prefs.xml
No angle brackets allowed here. I change the 100.0% of 8 cpus, to 30.0% or 2 cpus.
max_ncpus_pct30.0 max_ncpus_pct
cpu_usage_limit100 cpu_usage_limit
This is to tell Boid to use two cpu's. I reboot the machine, to take the configuration.
Then I run to monitor if it is working boidcmd status | grep active_task ; cat /var/lib/boinc-client/global_prefs_override.xml ; uptime
