Ugly Location Photography Challenge (YUP ITS UGLY)
It's the Chopstick Guy's version of the ugly location photography challenge! With so many location challenges going on we had to jump in and find our own ugly location to create a competition of our own. Sometimes it seems that good portrait photography is easy because we have such great locations. But, what happens when we find ourselves in an ugly location?
We have seen Mango Street along with Jessica Kobiessi do a great job with this and wanted to give it a try.
We used one speedlight from Interfit, our Interfit S1 monolights as well as just natural light for this photo challenge.
Just in case you missed our regular show last week here is the Ugly Location Challenge on its own. We took our friend Julia to the ugliest location we could find and created great portraits of her with three different lighting setups.
