Spanning tree Port fast
Port fast is a Cisco-proprietary enhanced to spanning tree. Port-fast helps to speed up the network convergence on access ports. Port fast bypass the listening and learning states 15 + 15 seconds timer and enter the spanning-tree forwarding state immediately.
Port fast feature should be enabled to access port. If you enable Port Fast on a port connected to switch then it might be created loops.
