In this video, I restore and colorize a beautiful but heavily damaged photo of Clara and Thomas Davies, taken in 1902. Their great-granddaughter Amy sent me this photo as a surprise gift for her mother, Juliet, and trusted me with the honor of bringing Clara and Thomas back to life.
This restoration took hours of detailed work — from upscaling and crack repair, to subtle enhancements and historically-informed colorization. Every frame of this video is part of their story.
