In today's softModder tutorial, I'll be showing you how to lock down and secure your Android app permissions on a Nexus 7 tablet running Jelly Bean 4.3. Some apps have access to all of your private data when you use them; it's time to lock down what certain can and cannot access.

We can do this using Permission Manager to access the secret App Ops feature built in to Android 4.3. If you don't have Android 4.3 yet, check out our video guide below to get it right now.

UPDATE: Permission Manager is no longer a totally free app. The newest version, updated on August 1st, has included ads and prompts for an ad-free paid version. If you don't like ads, you can try out App Ops Starter instead, which is free and does not have any ads at this time. Link below:
